HOW WALKER DESTROYED PUBLIC SERVICE IN WISCONSIN: I wish I'd written this myself, because I couldn't have possibly put it any better.

No matter how long the Generalissimo manages to hang on to his office (best guess is he'll be out in January of next year), the damage that he will have done to public-sector employment will take years to repair. Who in their right mind will want to be a cop... or a fireman... or a snowplow operator... or a teacher... or a game warden... or a school bus driver? Making close to minimum wage (when all the CUTS are factored in) with next to no benefits?

Might as well work at Subway. Who needs the hassle, or the responsibility, of government service?
