CONSPICUOUS MOSTLY IN HER ABSENCE: While John and Cindy McCain and husband Barack mourn the 9/11 victims at Ground Zero,  Me-Chelle Obama stays at home in Chicago.

Which is probably just as well. Me-Chelle would have somehow found a way to turn the ceremony into a moan-a-thon about how America had "raised the bar" on her. (Maybe that's why her husband left her at home.)

I hate to say it, but this woman has far, far too much ugly in her heart to be our First Lady. And that's a first. I mean, I don't expect her to be Laura Bush, or Barbara Bush, or even Hillary Clinton or Rosalynn Carter. But disrespecting the victims of September 11th shows just how desperate Me-Chelle Obama is for all attention to be focused on her.

Pathetic. And the left is skewering "Caribou Barbie"???
