Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Image of the Day:
Looks very much like the intersection in the last scene of 'Castaway'. The one where he stands in the middle of the road, and everywhere he looks is farmland and he has to figure out which way he's going to go...

Never saw that movie, although Mike did (he told me it was good). Something about... Tom Hanks' best "friend" was a soccer ball (?)
Nice to see you again, Doreen. I understand your life has been a wee bit, um, "hectic" of late. Hope things are looking up.
I auf course am driving insane hours during planting season and still doing the occasional school bus run too. Klaus is making up at work for his extended absence and the death of his mother, may she rest in peace. And Deb is going to give birth any day now (number 3!)--so that may explain the dearth o' blogging.
Don't worry. As the Governor of California would say, "We'll be back."

I got exhausted just reading about what everyone else is doing...makes my life seem serene (almost). Things are looking up in that area, however - I'm very pleased with the progress.
And yes, you got the movie reference correct - Tom's best friend in the movie was indeed a soccer ball (or was it a volleyball?) named WILSON. Get it?
