SATURDAY MARKETING HIJINX: Even though I've never thought of myself as the "business type," sometimes it occurs to me that I could've run a curl pattern in the marketing world. I mean, who ARE these people???

Starbucks Tries to Make Amends With Customers By Offering Free Syrup Shots, Better Espresso Makers

Yeah. That'll fix what's wrong. Of course what would I know, but here's a suggestion:

How about selling a cup of coffee for less than $4? Personally, that's what keeps this committed coffee drinker away from your stores.

And while you're at it? Quit calling your joe jockeys baristas. That just pisses people off.
