BUMMER! REPUBS, MAINSTREAM DEMS, INDYS REFUSE TO "MOVEON." As we at S&G have long maintained, few mindsets are more totalitarian at heart than that of the left wing of the Dhimmicratic Party, those so-called "progressives" who can't wait to have the rest of us ground beneath their Birkenstocks.Since Bill Clinton's moral peccadilloes became something of an issue with the rank-and-file American citizen, the Dhim Left has continually reminded us that we need to "move on" whenever our attention gets focused on something they don't want us to focus on—hell, in case we missed the point, they've even got a big-assed organization with that name that is now reminding us that we need to "move on" and forget Barack Obama's affiliation with the "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright.I think not.Just as a minor f'rinstance, if I had chosen to march to MoveOn's orders, I would have never discovered that Wright's (and Obama's) church is advancing the theory that Israel and South Africa collaborated on an "ethnic bomb" to kill Arabs and blacks, among other fun racial theories (like the one that has American whites as the descendents of the Romans).The natives are restless, to say the least. No matter how much the lefty Dhims scream and protest and tell everyone else to "move on," the issue refuses to go away, even among the party's hardcore (I especially liked this comment: "You guys can let the Wright thing go now, no one cares"—this, uh, being also demanded that another poster be banned from the site for putting up a video that presents the Obamessiah in a less-than-flattering light... more of the "progressive" groupthink that would destroy American free speech virtually overnight if one of their number ever gained the White House).Posted by Alois on

UH, JUST A MINUTE HERE... As any fairly regular reader of S&G knows, I am no fan of "Hitllery" Clinton (and I have several years' worth of blog posts to prove it, going clear back to the beginning of the blog).Clinton is and has always been self-serving and power-mad, and the Dhimmicrats could hardly come up with a less attractive candidate (unless that candidate was "post-racist" Barack Obama).But the timing of this internecine campaign is just a little suspect.Lemme get this straight: Clinton is supposed to drop out NOW, when she is nearly neck-and-neck with Obama for delegates, because the "post-racial" Obama has just been shown to be in bed with the perpetual-grievance, race-mongering, America- and Israel-hating black fascist bloc? Well, isn't that con-veeeeeeeeenient.Again, I don't like to give kudos to Hillary Clinton... but she wasn't expected to see right through this gambit how?Barack Obama is in a world of trouble (for example, he just lost the vote of one of our esteemed blogstaff) because, even if he himself isn't anti-white, anti-American and anti-Israel, he has been shown to spend an awful lot of time around people who are. And he wants to be President of the United States. I'm sorry, but if you're shooting for the highest office in the land (hell, in the world), guilt by association is going to have to be something you're prepared to deal with.But not by doing something so retarded and transparent as telling your opponent through back channels, "You should quit the race now because this Rev. We KNOW there's hatred. What shocks us is that a man of GOD would spend so much of his time expressing it!
