A GOOD WEEK: It’s been a good week so far. Ibrahim al-Jaafari has stepped down, possibly clearing the way for the formation of an Iraqi government. Scott McClelland has stepped down as a rather “milquetoast” White House spokesman and has been replaced by none other than the charismatic Tony Snow of Fox News fame; in a possible sign of desperation, UBL & Zarqawi come out with a coordinated PR effort; Col. David Hunt has been expressing considerable optimism that we are making good progress in Iraq and fully expects us to succeed IF WE STAY THE COURSE. Thus the profound importance of midterm elections and the importance of maintaining Republican control of Congress.

And, as if all that weren't enough... Hooters is open for business in China!
