[Islamists] are in their "Dark Ages"... their belief system offers little to anyone, but they don't know that. They would if at all possible impose it where they can, and kill everyone where they can't. That is a serious enemy. A mindless force that can't be handled with diplomacy. It must fear you. Period. If hatred is part of that fear, so be it. the important part is fear. Remove it, and the hatred will take over, in ignorant response to perceived weakness. In my lifetime, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, all products of timidity and reinforced perceptions of weakness by opposing forces.Those forces were not bent on liberation, but destruciton. Israel can never disarm, not even a bit. They have proven restraint, time and again, and that is enough.
