SEDALINA PLAIN LAYNE, REDUX: Saw a little post on Mitch Berg's blog yesterday that claimed that the infamous Plain Layne diaryblog had devolved into a Polish-language 404 page.

This indeed turns out to be the case.

Some of you may recall that I quit believing that Layne was the story of a real person a long time ago. And I have my own reasons, other than that one, why I don't check into Layne's "world" very often these days, most of them having to do with an overdose of lesbian sex-obsessing that seemed to come right out of the pages of the Penthouse Forum (I'm sure that helps explain her many, many young male readers).

Well, I'm not alone anymore. Blogger Ryan Schultz seems to be having his doubts too; at least he's linked to a group of us that have expressed same.

Why is the 404 page in Polish? Personally, I don't give a fuck (I'm sure that "Layne" will be back in some gaspingly dramatic incarnation forthwith), but I did render a translation in Mitch's comments section (see link above) for those who are interested...
